QuikQuote is a website design and development studio run by Ethan Ptacek. This notice covers quikquoteai.com — the site you're reading. Atlas, the client platform at atlas.quikquoteai.com, sits behind a login and is covered by the terms you get when your project starts.

What the quote form collects

Only what you type into it: your name, your email, your business name if you give one, and your message. There are no hidden fields beyond a spam trap that bots fill in and people don't.

• Where it goesTwo places — our own leads database, and Ethan's inbox. Nowhere else.
• What it's used forReplying to you, and keeping track of the conversation if you become a client.
• How long we keep itUntil you ask us to delete it, or until it's clearly gone cold. Ask and it's gone.
• What we never doSell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

The estimate demo

The chat demo on the homepage runs entirely in your browser. Every answer you click stays on your machine — nothing is sent to us, nothing is stored, and the prices it shows are examples, not a quote.

Cookies and what's on your device

This site sets no advertising cookies and no analytics cookies. Today there is exactly one thing stored on your device, and it's the record of what you chose when the cookie notice appeared.

• qq.consent — local storage — essentialRemembers whether you accepted or declined, so the notice doesn't ask twice. Stays on your device until you clear it or change your answer.
• Analytics — offNothing is running. If we ever add page analytics, it stays switched off until you turn it on here.
• Marketing — offNothing is running, and we have no plans to add ad tracking to this site.

Separately from cookies, our host keeps ordinary server logs — IP address, the page requested, the time — the way every web server does. They're used for security and for working out why something broke.

Who else touches any of this

Running a website means a handful of other companies are involved. This is the whole list:

• VercelHosts the site and serves the pages. Keeps the standard server logs described above.
• SupabaseHosts the database your form submission is saved into.
• FormSubmitDelivers the form to Ethan's inbox.
• Google FontsThe typefaces load from Google's servers, which means your browser asks Google for them and Google sees your IP address in the process.

What you can ask for

Email ethan@quikquoteai.com and we'll tell you everything we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. No form to fill in and no reason required — one person reads that inbox, and it's the person who'd action it.

You can change your cookie answer at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.

If this changes

If we add anything that collects more than what's described here, this page gets updated before it goes live and the date below changes with it.
